A Home For New Beginnings
Who We Are
Boulware Mission is a faith-based shelter that has been serving Owensboro and its surrounding counties since 1921. Boulware’s programs help displaced individuals identify and overcome obstacles to their financial well-being and independence.
Our Self-Sufficiency program assists individuals with employment skills, financial literacy, general education, substance abuse treatment, healthy living, general life skills, faith-building, and more...providing our clients with the tools they need to become independent, contributing members of the community.
Boulware Mission fosters positive change in the lives of displaced men by providing shelter, education, rehabilitation, and licensed substance abuse treatment, empowering them to achieve healthy and independent lives. Our ultimate goal is to alleviate the core issues that brought our clients to us in the first place and to see them become self-sufficient individuals.
The mission of Boulware Mission, Inc. is to help displaced individuals become self-sufficient through treatment, education and services. Our focus is on recovery from the root causes that brought our clients to Boulware in the first place.
Our goal is to see each of our clients become self-sufficient. We do this by identifying and alleviating contributing factors to their situation.
Sadie is Boulware's furriest resident. She is a non-certified service dog. She makes the Mission feel like home to the clients. Everyone who meets her loves her and her fun-loving spirit! Sadie puts a smile on the client's faces and knows no strangers. We are blessed to have her.
Meet Sadie, Boulware's Very Good Girl.
We admit people from the following counties: Daviess, Hancock, McLean, Ohio, Union, and Webster.
We would not be here today without individuals, businesses, and other supporting non profits. We have been around for over 97 years because of the kind hearts of people who believe in our Mission.
Would provide 1 days' worth of utilities for the Mission.
